Three Key Advantages and Features of Siemens Busbar Trunking Systems
1. Special Insulating Materials Cross-linked heat-shrinkable insulating sleeves are typically used. Siemens busbar trunking systems feature insulation, flame retardancy, flexibility, long service life, and simple operation. This new type of insulating shrinkable material is treated with a special solvent to cause it to swell and soften, after which it is slipped over the conductor. As the solvent evaporates, the sleeve automatically shrinks, securely clamping the conductor in place.

1. Special Insulating Materials Cross-linked heat-shrink insulation is typically used. Busbar trunking insulation is flame-retardant, flexible, long-lasting, and easy to install. In the late 1990s, air-shrink tubing began to gain popularity; this new type of insulating shrink material expands and softens after being treated with a special solvent. Once applied over the conductor, as the solvent evaporates, the sleeve automatically shrinks, securely holding the conductor in place. The ubiquitous presence of air ensures that the sleeve contracts uniformly in all directions. Siemens busbars do not require heating or baking, nor do they necessitate specialized technical personnel or complex tools—only a ruler and scissors are needed, which helps reduce labor costs and the investment in heating equipment.

Applications of Busbar Trunking Systems
Busbar trunking systems are highly efficient power distribution devices, particularly well suited to the rational wiring requirements of high-rise buildings and large industrial facilities. With the advent of modern engineering infrastructure and equipment, electricity consumption across all sectors has increased rapidly, especially in the construction of numerous high-rise buildings and large-scale industrial plants. Traditional cable-based transmission lines can no longer meet the demands of high-current distribution systems, and the parallel installation of multiple cables creates significant challenges for on-site installation and connection work.

Zhenjiang Ximenzi Conducts EHS Professional Knowledge and Internal Trainer Training
On December 12, Zhenjiang Siemens invited a professional instructor from Shanghai Qian’an Environmental Protection Company to deliver EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) expertise training and internal trainer development sessions. More than 20 participants, including heads and supervisors of the Production Department, equipment administrators, and selected frontline employees, attended the training. The curriculum covered mechanical safety safeguards, hazard identification, and risk assessment, with an introduction to practical tools such as energy control and lockout/tagout procedures. During the session, the instructor enhanced trainees’ understanding of how unsafe behaviors lead to accidents by showing short animated videos on behavioral safety. This training marked the first phase of the company’s EHS program; going forward, Zhenjiang Siemens will implement a comprehensive EHS training plan as scheduled to further elevate the company’s EHS management standards.
