1. Special Insulating Materials Cross-linked heat-shrinkable insulating sleeves are typically used. Siemens busbar trunking systems feature insulation, flame retardancy, flexibility, long service life, and simple operation. This new type of insulating shrinkable material is treated with a special solvent to cause it to swell and soften, after which it is slipped over the conductor. As the solvent evaporates, the sleeve automatically shrinks, securely clamping the conductor in place.

1. Special Insulating Materials
Cross-linked heat-shrink insulation sleeves are typically used. Siemens busbar trunking system It is insulating, flame-retardant, flexible, long-lasting, and easy to use. This new type of insulating shrinkable material expands and softens after being treated with a special solvent, then is slipped over the conductor. As the solvent evaporates, the sleeve automatically shrinks, securely holding the conductor in place. Ambient air ensures uniform contraction in all directions. No heating, baking, or specialized technicians are required; only a ruler and scissors are needed for application, which helps save on labor costs and investment in heating equipment.
2. High-strength housing structure
All Siemens busbar trunking connection cables are sealed to the enclosure; therefore, the enclosure design must meet stringent requirements, primarily in two key aspects.
(1) The specially shaped steel plate assembly formed by high-strength rollers exhibits high mechanical strength and stiffness while maintaining a compact footprint. The outer shell is secured through welding or bolting between interconnected components, thereby ensuring the electrical inertia of the bolted enclosure.
(2) The high short-circuit fault current withstand capability and the compact, high-density structural design ensure that the entire length of the equipment can independently endure substantial rated, short-time withstand, and peak withstand currents, thereby withstanding the resulting thermal stress and electromagnetic forces.
3. Reliable protective measures
Siemens busbar trunking system It is a shaping device connected to the busbar and can provide the following reliable protective measures:
(1) The electrical connection between the unit housing and the grounding terminal shall be in good condition, and the contact resistance between unpainted areas and the grounding terminal shall not exceed 0.1 Ω.
(2) Each unit is equipped with a grounding terminal. The grounding terminal shall be brazed with copper at locations prone to grounding and shall bear a clearly visible and robust grounding symbol.
(3) A secure electrical contact is provided between the main bus unit and the sub-bus box; that is, the conductors must be disconnected to de-energize the protection circuit, and the protection circuit must be reconnected before energizing the conductors.

Social Responsibility Report of Zhenjiang Ximen Busbar Co., Ltd. (Fiscal Year 2023)
This report is the first Corporate Social Responsibility Report published by Zhenjiang Siemens Busbar Co., Ltd. (or “the Company” or “we”), disclosing our management practices, initiatives, and outcomes in the areas of technological innovation, environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and corporate governance. The reporting period covered by this document is from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023; however, certain sections extend beyond this time frame.
Recently, the XL-IIS compact busbar trunking system from Siemens Busbar Co., Ltd. in Zhenjiang was recognized by the Data Center Branch of the China Computer Users Association as the “2023 Data Center Innovation Product,” while the XL-III compact busbar trunking system was awarded the “2023 Data Center Customer Satisfaction Product.” These accolades underscore Siemens Busbar’s innovative technologies and high-quality services in the data center sector.
Zhenjiang Ximenzi Hosts a Knowledge Competition
A total of nine teams from various departments took part in this competition. After nearly an hour of intense rivalry, the first-, second-, and third-place awards, as well as the Gold Medalist Award, were ultimately presented.
Zhenjiang Ximenzi Conducts EHS Professional Knowledge and Internal Trainer Training
On December 12, Zhenjiang Siemens invited a professional instructor from Shanghai Qian’an Environmental Protection Company to deliver EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) expertise training and internal trainer development sessions. More than 20 participants, including heads and supervisors of the Production Department, equipment administrators, and selected frontline employees, attended the training. The curriculum covered mechanical safety safeguards, hazard identification, and risk assessment, with an introduction to practical tools such as energy control and lockout/tagout procedures. During the session, the instructor enhanced trainees’ understanding of how unsafe behaviors lead to accidents by showing short animated videos on behavioral safety. This training marked the first phase of the company’s EHS program; going forward, Zhenjiang Siemens will implement a comprehensive EHS training plan as scheduled to further elevate the company’s EHS management standards.
