The Secrets of Busbar Trunking Manufacturers: What Is the Production Process for Busbar Trunking?

Busbar trunking is a device used for power transmission and distribution, typically in large buildings and industrial applications. However, few people are familiar with the manufacturing process of busbar trunking. In this article, we will take an in-depth look at how busbar trunking is made, from material selection to the final packaging and shipment of the finished product.

The manufacturing process of busbar trunking systems typically consists of the following main steps:

Step 1: Material Selection

The manufacture of busbar trunking systems requires the use of many different types of materials, such as steel plate, stainless steel, and copper. When selecting materials, manufacturers take into account numerous factors, including the operating environment, durability, and cost. Once the materials have been chosen, they are inspected to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.

Step 2: Material Cutting

Once the materials have been selected and inspected, they must be cut to the appropriate size and shape. This is typically accomplished using computer-controlled cutting machines, which ensure that each component meets precise dimensional and geometric specifications.

Step 3: Welding

The cut components are then sent to the welding shop, where the manufacturer assembles the busbar trunking frame by heating the components and bonding them together.

Step 4: Surface Treatment

Once the frame is assembled, the surface of the busbar trunking is prepared. This involves cleaning and derusting the external surface to ensure proper adhesion of the coating. Subsequently, the manufacturer applies a primer coat and then cures it by baking to guarantee strong adhesion of the coating.

Step 5: Coating

Once the primer has been applied and allowed to dry, the manufacturer will apply a topcoat. This can be in a wide range of colors, but it is typically gray or black to match the building’s exterior. The coating is then baked to ensure it dries and sets properly.

Step 6: Install the accessories

Once the busbar trunking system frame has been surface-treated and coated, the manufacturer will install various accessories, such as plugs, connectors, and cable clamps.

Step 7: Packaging and Shipping

Finally, the manufacturer inspects the quality of the busbar trunking system, packages it, and ships it to the customer. This typically involves wrapping the busbar trunking with protective materials to prevent any damage during transit.

In summary, the manufacturing of busbar trunking systems is a highly precise process that involves numerous steps and materials. Only when all these steps are meticulously completed can high-quality busbar trunking systems be produced.

Zhenjiang Ximenzi Conducts EHS Professional Knowledge and Internal Trainer Training

On December 12, Zhenjiang Siemens invited a professional instructor from Shanghai Qian’an Environmental Protection Company to deliver EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) expertise training and internal trainer development sessions. More than 20 participants, including heads and supervisors of the Production Department, equipment administrators, and selected frontline employees, attended the training. The curriculum covered mechanical safety safeguards, hazard identification, and risk assessment, with an introduction to practical tools such as energy control and lockout/tagout procedures. During the session, the instructor enhanced trainees’ understanding of how unsafe behaviors lead to accidents by showing short animated videos on behavioral safety. This training marked the first phase of the company’s EHS program; going forward, Zhenjiang Siemens will implement a comprehensive EHS training plan as scheduled to further elevate the company’s EHS management standards.
