Distribution Engineering Operation Specifications

Distribution is the link in the power system that directly connects to end users and delivers electrical energy to them. The distribution system comprises distribution substations, high-voltage distribution lines, distribution transformers, low-voltage distribution lines, and associated control and protection equipment.

As the name suggests, high pressure. Power distribution The distribution equipment consists of high-voltage switchgear, low-voltage switchgear, and connecting cables. Typically, power supply bureaus and substations use high-voltage switchgear, which steps down the voltage via transformers to feed low-voltage switchgear, from which power is then distributed to various distribution panels. Control boxes and switchgear cabinets are essentially distribution devices that integrate protective components such as switches, circuit breakers, fuses, pushbuttons, indicator lights, meters, and wiring.

Under normal circumstances, high and low voltage Power distribution The work is carried out in accordance with the operating procedures for process cycles on fully or partially energized switchboards:

1. Maintenance equipment shall be clearly labeled and segregated from operating equipment;

2. The secondary windings of current transformers and voltage transformers shall be provided with permanent and reliable protective grounding.

3. When working on the secondary circuit of an operating current transformer, the following safety measures shall be implemented:

(1) To reliably short-circuit the secondary winding of a current transformer, shorting links and shorting wires must be used; winding is prohibited.

(2) Any work on circuits or conductors between the current transformer and the short-circuit terminals is prohibited;

4. When working on the secondary circuit of a voltage transformer in operation, the following safety measures shall be implemented:

(1) When the secondary circuit is energized, the secondary circuit shall be disconnected to prevent reverse transformation from the secondary side to the primary side.

In addition, the fuse should also be removed;

(2) Prior to energizing the line or conducting a withstand voltage test, the on-duty personnel and relevant staff shall be notified, and personnel shall be assigned to guard the site and conduct inspections.

Inspect the circuit before applying pressure to confirm that no one is working on it;

5. Personnel inspecting power-off protection and secondary circuits shall not perform any operations without the permission of the on-duty personnel.

Zhenjiang Ximenzi’s Compact Busbar Trunking System Wins 2023 Data Center Innovation and Customer Satisfaction Award

Recently, the XL-IIS compact busbar trunking system from Siemens Busbar Co., Ltd. in Zhenjiang was recognized by the Data Center Branch of the China Computer Users Association as the “2023 Data Center Innovation Product,” while the XL-III compact busbar trunking system was awarded the “2023 Data Center Customer Satisfaction Product.” These accolades underscore Siemens Busbar’s innovative technologies and high-quality services in the data center sector.

Zhenjiang Ximenzi Hosts a Knowledge Competition

A total of nine teams from various departments took part in this competition. After nearly an hour of intense rivalry, the first-, second-, and third-place awards, as well as the Gold Medalist Award, were ultimately presented.

Zhenjiang Ximenzi Conducts EHS Professional Knowledge and Internal Trainer Training

On December 12, Zhenjiang Siemens invited a professional instructor from Shanghai Qian’an Environmental Protection Company to deliver EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) expertise training and internal trainer development sessions. More than 20 participants, including heads and supervisors of the Production Department, equipment administrators, and selected frontline employees, attended the training. The curriculum covered mechanical safety safeguards, hazard identification, and risk assessment, with an introduction to practical tools such as energy control and lockout/tagout procedures. During the session, the instructor enhanced trainees’ understanding of how unsafe behaviors lead to accidents by showing short animated videos on behavioral safety. This training marked the first phase of the company’s EHS program; going forward, Zhenjiang Siemens will implement a comprehensive EHS training plan as scheduled to further elevate the company’s EHS management standards.
