Busbar trunking system manufacturer provides guidance: How to perform electrical maintenance on low-voltage switchgear? Learn proper maintenance procedures to ensure equipment operation and personnel safety!
First, it is essential to ensure that electrical maintenance of the low-voltage switchgear is performed properly. Busbar trunking system manufacturers advise regular inspection of the electrical connection wiring in the low-voltage switchgear to confirm secure connections and prevent failures caused by poor contact. In addition, the interior of the low-voltage switchgear should be kept clean at all times, with dust and debris removed promptly to avoid blockages that could impair heat dissipation.
Secondly, the electrical components inside the low-voltage switchgear—such as circuit breakers and contactors—should be inspected regularly. Busbar trunking system manufacturers recommend that these components be routinely inspected and maintained to ensure their proper operation. In addition, attention should be paid to whether any components are damaged or showing signs of aging, and they should be replaced promptly to prevent safety hazards.
Finally, regarding the electrical maintenance of low-voltage switchboards, busbar trunking system manufacturers also advise conducting regular insulation resistance tests to ensure that the switchboard’s insulation performance remains satisfactory. Insulation testing can effectively identify potential safety hazards, thereby safeguarding both equipment and personnel.
By following the methods and recommendations outlined above, you can effectively carry out electrical maintenance on low-voltage switchboards, ensuring both the proper operation of the equipment and the safety of personnel. Busbar trunking system manufacturers hope these guidelines will help you better maintain your low-voltage switchboards, thereby enhancing production efficiency and safety.

Zhenjiang Ximenzi Conducts EHS Professional Knowledge and Internal Trainer Training
On December 12, Zhenjiang Siemens invited a professional instructor from Shanghai Qian’an Environmental Protection Company to deliver EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) expertise training and internal trainer development sessions. More than 20 participants, including heads and supervisors of the Production Department, equipment administrators, and selected frontline employees, attended the training. The curriculum covered mechanical safety safeguards, hazard identification, and risk assessment, with an introduction to practical tools such as energy control and lockout/tagout procedures. During the session, the instructor enhanced trainees’ understanding of how unsafe behaviors lead to accidents by showing short animated videos on behavioral safety. This training marked the first phase of the company’s EHS program; going forward, Zhenjiang Siemens will implement a comprehensive EHS training plan as scheduled to further elevate the company’s EHS management standards.
